Hello

I’m Carissa Agnew, a Sydney-based Creative Lead and Graphic/Digital Designer with over 18 years’ experience across brand, digital, print, retail, social, B2B and eCommerce design.

My experience spans in-house, agency and freelance roles, creating work for brands including Dyson, OFX, Cashrewards, Channel 10, Yahoo7!, Domain, Winc and News Corp. I’ve developed creative across EDMs, websites, digital banners, social content, print, outdoor, motion graphics, marketing collateral, campaign assets and packaging.

In my current role at Amazonia, I lead creative direction across brand, packaging, digital, retail and campaign execution. This includes guiding work from concept through to final artwork, managing creative partners, directing photoshoots, developing briefs, building scalable design systems, and using AI tools to support ideation, copywriting, artwork editing, content creation and campaign development.

I’m passionate about creating thoughtful, commercially effective design that brings brand strategy to life across every customer touchpoint.

My Story

I studied Multimedia at Central Queensland University, completing both a Bachelor of Multimedia and a Diploma of Multimedia. During this time, I worked across fashion and hospitality, which helped shape my understanding of customer experience, visual presentation and styling.

I began my career as a web designer before expanding into print design through my work with Yellow Pages. As the industry evolved, I continued to build my skills across digital, print, branding, creative production and, more recently, AI-supported design workflows.

Fashion, travel, art and food continue to influence my creative perspective, particularly in styling, visual storytelling and photoshoot direction.
